Online Video Marketing Solutions

It’s no surprise today that the number one way for customers to find their goods is by going online.  Virtual shopping carts fill up as the customers make their way down artificial imitations of store windows.  However simple it is for the consumer to make his way across the aisles of ones and zeros, there is still a certain hesitation to stay on one site and buy, often leaving shopping carts full and purchases unfulfilled.  With an infinite amount of ‘store windows’ at the touch of a button, its no wonder one-stop-shopping is a myth today.  So how do we keep our customers true to our shop?

The next step is the virtual salesman – always available and always personable.  As our eyes roam around text and graphics we become transfixed in the infinite pursuit of information.

How does it work in the real world? How will it work for me?  We hunt but what we really want to do is learn.

Today, online video has become one of the most obvious tools to grab the attention of the customer and answer these questions.  ‘HotspotBUY’ links such as these developed around Kmart’s Design shopping allow potential customers to watch their product in real world settings and can easily click in frame on the desired item and view its details.

Now, this may be overkill for some simpler stores, but the fact remains that video has proven to be a rising force in customer-retailer relations.  Here’s some numbers why not.

Companies who offer some sort of online video marketing generally see a:

  • 40% increase in internet sales
  • 24% decrease in product returns
  • 36% increase in annual overall sales

Although these numbers support a fantastic return from the addition of video marketing, many retailers are still hesitant to pursue this rising concept.  But this is changing quickly as companies are beginning to demand a fresh approach to marketing in their online presence.  In fact, below social media networking, online videos are vastly becoming the desire of even the smallest of businesses and at surprisingly little cost.

It’s a demanding world.  Demand their attention.
